Hyatt JDV: Analyzing the site, height regulations, master planning, and schematic massing for the hotel building with parking requirements and service areas. Program analysis for Atrium, hotel lobby, restaurants,
banquet hall, hotel rooms with amenities such as gymnasium, family areas, and kid’s play area.
 

Charles Hawkins Retainer site planning: Researched zoning laws, fire regulations, and codes with city and county government agencies. Created site and space plans and provided design solutions by utilizing codes and vision to achieve a final integrated design for CH Site retainer projects.
Utilizing IBC (International Building code) for 15+ projects for the application of life safety codes, occupancy requirements along with studying and analyzing zoning ordinances, historic downtown codes, urban design ordinances, and parcel study for site planning and massing, building material requirements for exterior facades, set back requirements. Presenting and delivering site plans and building design concepts.
 

Park 109 & Alterra Warehouse – TI projects: Developed presentations, precedent analysis studies, and modified, and/or reviewed drawings as directed by the project architect. Responsible for the preparation
of schematic architectural design concepts, preparation of construction documents, and detailed drawings for numerous government facilities for the Bidding and permitting process. Construction Administration for
construction quality and assurance along with Project Architect.
Shop Drawings and reviewing submittals, RFI’s and RFQ’s, change orders, planning submittals, site observation reports, and providing the consultants with the required information. Utilizing project management
tools for scheduling projects and defining project scope.
 

Fountains Phase II: Schematic design, design development, and construction document set. Worked closely with the design team and assists to complete projects on aggressive schedules. Coordinating with MP&E and civil consultants to assure the implementation of all associated building codes and life-safety codes.

Analyzed Census data to update the charts and diagrams for the Mobilizing Tomorrow Plan FY 2020-2025.

​

Utilizing programs such as ArcGIS, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Excel to analyze data and publish reports.

​

Examining the existing data for Model Bicycle ordinance and updating with new information. Analyzed data for Complete street policies for MPO region by referring to the NACTO urban bikeway design guide. Created visual graphics and GIS maps for Data Bike report 2019.

Assisted in CDBG grant approval and inspection for sewer infrastructure update in Melcher-Dallas, Iowa.

​

Attended meetings along with the board members to form the Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund. Surveyed for the inspection process and hiring the Housing inspector for the allocation of grants and funds through coordinating with existing trust funds in Iowa. Created Logo and maintained the website for the Central Iowa Housing Trust Fund.

Assisted the team with presentations, creating posters and arranging public open house for Long range transportation planning. Actively attended the DMAMPO technical committee meeting, executive meeting and policy meeting catering to funding, LRTP, water trails, storm water and speaker series.

​

Created GIS maps and interactive maps for the public to enable editing features for wildlife management area in DMAMPO region.

​

Environmental Review for Melcher-Dallas, Iowa using the NEPA and EPA guidelines by performing site visits, public notices, SHPO forms, CDBG Grants and submitting the documentation to IEDA.

​

Environmental Justice Report for DMAMPO region by using ACS census data and ARC GIS.
